Well we're back! A whirlwind of a roadtrip, for sure, but the good news is that thanks to our preparations, we ate just fine while driving (although we were definitely "snacked" out) and the kiddos were very well behaved!
I am just devastated by the catastrophe in Japan and it's really got me thinking about how well my family is prepared. I am getting to work on our food and water storage as well as 72 hour kits in the near future. I'll do some posts about those. Creating a food storage is a tricky thing to do when you are dealing with allergies (gluten, corn, and cashews) so it will take some brain power but we'll get it done! I know many others are struggling with allergies as well so hopefully I can come up with some good ideas that will help someone else out. Stay tuned for those posts! Here's one place to donate to aid the relief effort in Japan.
I had a fabulous time teaching essential oils classes while we were vacationing. Thank you to everyone who came! It was so great to see so many old friends as well as meet lots of new faces. Be sure to check the left side bar and watch for upcoming classes - if you're around, I'd love to have you come!
