Why is this such a hard concept to remember?
I think it is so common for us to feel as though we're not enough. We each probably do the "I'm not enough" in different ways. Not pretty enough. Not thin enough. Not smart enough. Not good enough. Not frugal enough. Not religious enough. Not perfect enough. Not worthy enough. Not friendly enough. Etc. Etc.
I know that I fight the "Not Enough" syndrome far too often in my own mind. So, to combat that, I've set this image as the desktop background on my computer, which sits inside my kitchen. I walk by it often and see it and it's a little visual reminder to me that I am, in fact, ENOUGH. I am more than enough, and so are you!
You and I - we are perfect exactly as we are. Faults and all. We were made to mess up. We were made to grow. We were made to learn. Despite our struggles and challenges, we are all - every single one of us - enough. Always. Every day. Forever. Enough.
You Are Enough.
